I know OU has been in a slump and TT has been hot, but 8 points? Isn't OU the obvious play?

Cheers

K-LA - Yes it is and normally that would nudge me to Texas Tech. I am on Oklahoma however as I believe there is too much value in this line. I like the under even better but it is now at 129/129.5 so it has dropped 2 points.

Guys I'm waiting til around gametime and I'm going to take the Raiders because I think they will do everything to make the most of kicking OU while they're down on national TV. I like TT by double digits tonight.

Good luck.

OU among the most overrated teams along with Missouri and Pitt. I feel OU and Pitt both go down big tonite. Oklahoma already exposed on nat'l TV by Uconn and think it's Pitt's turn tonite. Good luck to you guys whichever way you go.

FastFreddy - Pitt is not over-rated. The fact that they are 18-0 and rated only #13 demonstrates this. You can have the opinion that Pitt hasn't played a difficult schedule or had a real road test so their record is misleading and I would agree with you. Pitt is a very good team. Many share the same opinion as you because of the way Pitt wins games - playing great defense, rebounding, being physical without getting into foul trouble, making the extra pass, etc. In other words, they are not flashy or high-scoring but that does not make them any less successful of a TEAM. That being said, this a horrible spot for Pitt tonight on the road against a ticked off UConn team that will be playing the undefeated, defending Big East champs on their home floor.

Let's Go Pitt!!!!!!!!

Big, physical guards for Pitt match-up decent against Uconn trio, maybe can neutralize back- court play, good defensive squad, Pitt can stay within the number, but admittedly, terrible spot

My reasoning is that Oklahoma seems to be finished by all accounts now that they are showing what they are made of against a better tier of competition (last 4 games 1-3, at margins -3Princeton, +27CT, +21OKState, and +4Missouri). Admittedly Tech is a step down from some of those teams but I wouldn't put them at the bottom by any means. Tech BEAT OKState by 21, Minnesota by 17, Utah by 11, and so on.

The -7.5 is a lot of points so I'm considering spending a few bucks to buy it down to 4.5 just in case. Clearly using OkState as a guide this should be no contest - but I know that in reality shit happens so thats why I'd play it safe.

Oklahoma is one of the worst team in D1 basketball. I can;t believe how bad they are. This is a ranked team??? Oklahoma looks like a pee wee team. They Travel like retards and have a midget point guard. The whole team looks like they saw a ghost. They suck, 1-8 ATS.

True Oklahoma is finished as I suspected.

They have a decent coach but the team isnt capable.

They may suprise us and pull out some wins but I'll be watching them close for fade ops.

Also Uconn is overrated but they have great talent. They don't seem to me to play real smart but they have awesome "primal instincts".
